During the time of the COVID shutdown, like many people in 2020, I heard the call of God and began to examine and evaluate whether I was being all that God has called me to be.
As the Organization’s President, I decided to heed the call to do more within the realm of education. I reached out and invited my village of like-minded educators to explore how we could come together and identify a void that could be filled using our unique gifts and talents combined with our status as educators to fill the void.
Through prayer and collaboration, The Black Educators Empowerment Services, a faith-based organization with a focus on retaining, supporting, and empowering educators, was born.
